Telecommunications Department has launched a portal from the domain tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in. A database of all mobile numbers operating across the country is uploaded in this portal. This portal is an attempt to curb spam and fraud. If you think someone else is using a mobile number in your name, you can complain about this through this website. Let us know how to use this website.

1) First of all, open tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in in your mobile phone browser or on laptop or computer.

2) Then enter your 10 digit mobile number. Now an OTP will come to your number. Enter and validate that OTP.

3) After validating the OTP, you will get a list of all the numbers that are working in your name. From there, you can report any number at your convenience.

4) The government will then check the numbers running on your number that you have complained about.

tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in is currently released for certain circles. Soon it will be introduced in all circles. A maximum of nine mobile numbers can be employed on an ID proof, but if you see a number in this portal that is in your name but you do not use it, you can complain about that number. The government will then block that number
