  Gargle with Triphala or liquorice chutney regularly every day.  Once rinsed, keep the tea in your mouth for at least 2-3 minutes and then wash off.  Do this 4 to 5 times a day.

  Clean the ulcer with a pinch of turmeric or liquorice powder daily.

  After some time apply ghee and honey on the wounds.

  Gargle with milk to reduce swelling and pain in wounds.

  Chew on the soft leaves of amla.

  After a while drink cumin, coriander and fennel tea.

  Include amla in the diet.


  Take special care of these things if you have mouth ulcers


  You should avoid sour and spicy foods until your mouth ulcers get better.

  Minimize the consumption of garlic, chilli and ginger.

  Keep your mouth clean.

  Empty your bowels thoroughly daily.

  Drink more water and stay hydrated.
